Foreign Trade University
Mai Anh Dang may not be a businesswoman, but she sure is glad she chose international business for her bachelor’s degree. The professional writer says that it instilled in her “a mindset to assess the world around us” and that “the knowledge and the logical, analytical thinking in business benefit me in arranging my ideas.”
As it turns out, Mai Anh Dang has become an entrepreneur of sorts. She has combined her passions for the environment, writing and illustrating to produce several books about protecting the Earth. “I love when I can share and people can find their image in my stories. That is how I see my community improving little by little, and that is why I want to do it day by day,” she says.
YSEALI is helping Mai Anh Dang develop her entrepreneurial skills further. She says it has “enhance[d] my confidence and the [width] of my network.” Through YSEALI, Mai Anh Dang has won a grant to provide youth activists in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia with English training.
